I stand for a safe learning environment for all students! When safety and security are the norm, students can concentrate and absorb learning material. This is imperative for creativity to flow and to retain source material from textbooks.
MUSD is a the premier school district in NW Pima County. We must attract and retain the best educators in Arizona and even attract more from surrounding states. Not to mention that education is one of the most important things we can provide for our children and grandchildren, so we should support those who provide it. I support making our teachers some of the best paid in Arizona!
We must ensure our students are learning and growing. In order to do this I support teachers of teachers. Experienced teachers have such a deep knowledge of how to help their newer peers be successful. I want to ensure knowledge is shared and not siloed in one school or area. When knowledge is shared, we are all better together!
